The Steepwater Band Announce New Album 'Down & Divine'

() The Steepwater Band will release their highly anticipated ninth studio album, "Down & Divine" on November 6, 2026, with the current single / video "Pass it All Around" streaming now exclusively on YouTube.

A band known for their gritty blend of blues-driven rock, soulful songwriting, and relentless touring spirit, The Steepwater Band continue to evolve while staying rooted in the raw authenticity that has defined their sound for decades.

Front man and guitarist Jeff Massey shares his enthusiasm for the new release: "My excitement for this new record can't be understated. To my ears, the songs are a reflection of many years as a band, always searching for the next song, the next show, and the continuing musical journey. Its rock 'n' roll music, and it's what we do."

Recorded over the course of a number of sessions in 2025 (in between touring,) "Down & Divine" was produced & mixed by Tony "Mac" McQuaid (Loudmouth / Frank Bang's Secret Stash) at The Music Mansion in Chicago's Bronzeville neighborhood. This marks the first time the band have worked on an album in the city of Chicago since 2011's fan favorite, "Clava." Joining the band once again on keyboards is Chris Grove (Eddie Money), along with newcomer Natalie Combs-Sprouse on backup vocals for a couple of numbers, and added percussion assistance from Chuck Harling (The Midnight Calls.)

"Down & Divine" captures the essence of a band still pushing forward, channeling years of road-tested chemistry into a collection of songs that feel both timeless and immediate. Fans can expect a dynamic mix of driving riffs, introspective lyrics, and the unmistakable groove that has become synonymous with The Steepwater Band.

To celebrate the release weekend, the band will play debut shows at two venues ~ Friday, November 6 at the 808 @ Indy CD & Vinyl in Indianapolis & Saturday, November 7 at Hard Rock Live Northern Indiana in Gary, followed by slew of other shows in the States, before heading to Europe in early 2027.
