Staytus Releases 'S+M' Video

(The Grundemann Group) Industrial alt artist Staytus has officially released her new single and music video, "S + M," now streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and all major digital platforms. The release follows Staytus' recent signing with Cleopatra Records.

"S + M" continues Staytus' signature fusion of industrial, electronic and nu-metal influences, delivering an emotionally charged exploration of separation, unresolved connection and the magnetic pull toward reconciliation. The track captures the emotional intensity of loving someone who continues to remain part of your identity, even from a distance.

The official music video for "S + M" was directed by Vicente Cordero of Industrialism Films, known for visually immersive productions within the industrial, gothic and metal music scenes. Industrialism Films has worked with artists including Stabbing Westward, Skold, Jyrki 69 and Davey Suicide.

The video combines gothic industrial visuals with psychological storytelling, building toward a dark cinematic twist ending that leaves the viewer questioning the reality of the relationship portrayed throughout the song.

"I've always been inspired by films and visual storytelling that leave people unsettled in a beautiful way," said Staytus. "'S + M' starts off feeling seductive and emotionally intimate, but as the story unfolds it becomes something much darker and more psychologically distorted. I wanted the ending to completely reframe the emotional experience of the song."
