(BHM) Moon Walker recently shared his new album, WASTELAND COUNTRY and is now debuting its eponymous film. Starring Moon Walker and John Amedro as Mr. Jones, the "WASTELAND COUNTRY" film (dir. Madison McConnell) is out now, and the full record is available everywhere.
The 44-minute feature brings many of the characters crafted in the album to life and welcomes viewers to WASTELAND COUNTRY, where every day starts with a happy face and a solid dose of propaganda.
On the film, Moon Walker says, "Making the movie really helped solidify the world of Wasteland Country at every step. We were making props and doing shoots throughout the process of writing the record, so it was constantly inspiring the music and fleshing out what I was writing in real time. The movie makes the whole concept feel fully realized in a way that just the music couldn't on its own."
The album, WASTELAND COUNTRY, sees Moon Walker continuing to viscerally reflect on the world around him with biting, guitar-driven anthems. After multiple sold out shows this past spring, the musician's high-octane tour continues across the U.S. this summer for its final round.
