The Black Crowes Do Surprise Jam With Whiskey Myers At SiriusXM Event

(SiriusXM) The Black Crowes and Whiskey Myers performed live to a packed room of SiriusXM subscribers and fans at ACL Live at 3TEN in Austin, Texas on Saturday night, ahead of their tour kick off.

SiriusXM Presents The Black Crowes featured the GRAMMY Award nominated band performing songs from their tenth studio album, A Pound of Feathers, as well as other hits and familiar favorites including, "Hard to Handle," "Remedy," "Twice as Hard," "Cruel Streak," and more.

Tour mates, Whiskey Myers, opened the night with "Time Bomb," "Midnight Women," "Bury My Bones," and others. The audience was surprised at the end as both bands took the stage together to perform their cover of The Rolling Stones' "Star Star."

The Black Crowes' performance premiered in its entirety on SiriusXM's Classic Rewind (ch. 25) on Monday, May 18 is available to stream anytime on the SiriusXM app. The show will also encore on SiriusXM Southern Rock, The Spectrum, Outlaw Country and Howard Stern's Howard 101.

In addition to the live show, Chris and Rich Robinson of The Black Crowes are hosting SiriusXM Southern Rock as part of SiriusXM's Artist Residency initiative, sharing hand-picked Southern-fried classics from their favorite artists and mixing in their hits as well as songs from their new album. SiriusXM Southern Rock Hosted by The Black Crowes can be heard on the SiriusXM app through June 12.
