(Suspicious Activities PR) Metalville announces July 10th as the international release date for Sweet's The Answer. Originally released in 1992 under the title A, a version of the original album expanded to include various bonus tracks, titled The Answer, was released three years later.
Andy Scott once again succeeded in putting together a top-class line-up, consisting of Mal McNulty (Slade), Bodo Schopf (Eloy/MSG), Jeff Brown (Wildfire), and Steve Mann (MSG/Lionheart).
With The Answer, Sweet managed to reinvent themselves without losing sight of their roots. The songs feature timeless hard rock with metal influences, yet always remain unmistakably Sweet.
The album is regarded as a genuine, long-overlooked gem in the band's discography. Having been available only to collectors for years, The Answer is now finally back in stock on CD and vinyl for all fans of this British glam and hard rock legend.
