(BHM) YOSHIKI - Composer, Pianist, and Japan's Biggest Rock Star - will perform the U.S. National Anthem at Dodger Stadium on Monday, April 27, as part of the Los Angeles Dodgers' Japanese Heritage Night presented by Daiso.
The performance, featuring YOSHIKI's cutting-edge arrangement, will take place before the Dodgers face the Miami Marlins. Japanese Heritage Night is a special event acknowledging the culture and traditions of Japanese Heritage.
YOSHIKI said, "I am deeply honored to return to Dodger Stadium, performing the national anthem of the United States, a country that has embraced my creative journey for nearly three decades. I am approaching this rendition as a cinematic fusion, blending a modern, cutting-edge aesthetic with a classical operatic foundation, all while maintaining the utmost respect for the anthem's tradition."
The stadium appearance serves as a high-profile prelude to YOSHIKI's highly anticipated return to the U.S. stage this summer. Part of his "Classical 2026" concert series, YOSHIKI will headline The Music Center's Walt Disney Concert Hall on July 16 and 17.
Titled "Scarlet Night" and "Violet Night," the performances mark YOSHIKI's triumphant U.S. comeback following his third cervical spine surgery in late 2024. YOSHIKI will change the set list for each performance, making this an unforgettable experience for fans. "Classical 2026" represents a "rebirth" for the artist, blending his signature cinematic compositions with the unmatched acoustics of Los Angeles' most iconic architectural landmark.
