(Big Loud Rock) Los Angeles-based indie rockers Common People level up with the release of their debut EP Games - out now via Parallel Vision/Big Loud Rock. Produced by Brad Shultz, the 6-track EP spotlights fan-favorite melancholic setlist staple "Don't Fall" alongside previously released singles including "Propaganda," co-written by Matt Shultz. "The songs on this EP came together as we grew from being friends at school to being a band," shared lead vocalist Nicky Winegardner. "We are very grateful and excited to be able to put out our first body of music."
Heralded by their hopeful February track "Dear Worry," Games features their 2025 breakout debut "Thank You" - which garnered critical acclaim from Rolling Stone, Flaunt Magazine, and Atwood Magazine - with subsequent singles "Propaganda," "Ready or Not," and "Rain" continuing the momentum across outlets Alternative Press, New Noise Magazine, Earmilk, B-Sides, and more.
The debut EP arrives on all DSPs on the heels of the indie rock quintet's final tour support dates with Rainbow Kitten Surprise, where fans got an early listen through limited vinyl copies available exclusively at the live shows. Vinyl copies of the EP are available for purchase from their online store and at their upcoming tour dates with Congress The Band, The Bends, and Young The Giant. Additionally, the band will deliver an exciting set at Minnesota Yacht Club Festival on July 19, following their festival debut at Innings Festival in February.
