
(The Chamber Group) GRAMMY Award-winning artist Miguel was honored with the 'Music Visionary Award' on Opening Night of the 22nd Annual HollyShorts Film Festival on Wednesday, August 13, at the TCL Chinese Theatres in Hollywood. The award was presented by Nathalie Emmanuel.
On Closing Ceremony day, August 23, Miguel will present the critically acclaimed documentary film Papá Melissa and take part in a panel alongside director Sophia Stieglitz and producers Margaret Zhang (Mì-Mì Labs), Constanza Castro and Domenica Castro.
Executive produced by 271 Films, Margaret Zhang's Mì-Mì Labs and Miguel's company S1C, the film follows Melissa and her family as they navigate identity, parenthood, love and transformation with remarkable tenderness, humour and honesty. It is an intimate portrait of a family growing together through change.
