(IC) "Breathe" (Morgan Seatree & Marlon Hoffstadt Remix) was released today via Capitol Records in partnership with Goodlife Management and MC3. With Morgan Seatree on board, Marlon Hoffstadt's uplifting single "Breathe" morphs into a celebratory banger set to soundtrack the summer.
Upon its release in late March, "Breathe" was hailed by METAL as "a euphoric yet quietly melancholic track that mirrors the atmosphere [Marlon] Hoffstadt creates in his sets; moments where the dance floor opens up, not just physically, but emotionally."
Marlon Hoffstadt says, "I am super excited this version of 'Breathe' is finally seeing the light of day. Ever since playing Morgan's 'Say My Name' in my sets, I knew I wanted to release a track with him at some point - he's one of the most exciting new talents coming out of the UK and I've been a huge fan of everything he's been putting out. 'Breathe' ended up being the perfect record for us to connect on, and I'm really happy we finally made it happen!"
Morgan Seatree, the 27-year-old Manchester, UK-born DJ, producer and founder of the record label Unfussy, said, "This record together feels like such a natural progression and honor since we met through 'Say My Name.' He asked if I wanted to work on this with him and, of course, I said yes. He is an icon and someone I look up to and it's a track I'm really proud of."
Seatree's 140BPM edit of Florence + the Machine's "Spectrum (Say My Name)" was a breakout hit, topping Billboard's Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart, hitting No. 25 on the UK Official Singles Chart and racking up over 209 million streams on Spotify alone. Marlon Hoffstadt, AKA DJ Daddy Trance, and Malugi drew attention for playing Seatree's edit during their B2B set at the Boiler Room London: Club Heart Broken.
Named one of Radio 1's Future Stars for 2026, Seatree has been firing on all cylinders. Alongside winning fans in two of his dance heroes - Sonny Fodera enlisted him to remix "Tell Me" and Calvin Harris tapped him up for a rave-y take on "Blessings" - he's recently released "Beat Is Jumping" with Carla Monroe and the transcendent rave throwback "Never Gonna Stop." A rare artist who can play hard dance events like Terminal V and Teletech as well as Pacha in Ibiza (he'll be a guest of Fodera this summer), his 2026 itinerary - which also includes Creamfields, Parklife and Seatree's biggest UK headline tour to date - is impressively varied.
