Bella White Releases 'Better' Video

(BT PR) Acclaimed singer-songwriter Bella White shares her latest track, "Better," a quietly powerful meditation on growth and healing. "Better" is the latest track to be unveiled from the forthcoming new album A Sign In The Weather, out June 5th on Rounder Records.

Built around warm acoustic textures, restrained instrumentation and White's delicate vocal delivery, "Better" finds strength in reflection and embracing emotional evolution. The track and its accompanying music video display her gift for understated storytelling and timeless song craftsmanship.

Speaking about the track Bella explains, "I wrote 'Better' on my birthday. I was driving across the country and stopped for a few days in New Mexico. I felt very wistful and was reminiscing on the years past. I wanted to capture the feeling of recognizing my own growth and taking a moment to appreciate change - allowing it to feel less scary."

White is about to wrap a successful North American tour, playing Nashville on May 16th following packed shows in Atlanta, Portland and New York City among other cities. Known for her distinctive voice and compelling live performances, White has previously opened for Dierks Bentley, Tyler Childers, and The Red Clay Strays.

"Better" is the fifth single to be released ahead of the new album. Previously released tracks include "Pink Living Room," "Little Things," "Dream Song," and "False Start," written after the North Carolina floods as a condemnation of surface-level chatter. Co-produced by White and Ross Farbe (Esther Rose, Drugdealer), A Sign In The Weather marks a bold evolution in White's sound as she collaborates with Sam Gelband (drums), Gina Leslie (bass), Nick Corson (guitar), Maddy Kirgo (vocals), Duncan Troast (piano), Patrick M'Gonigle (fiddle) and Nikolai Shveitser (pedal steel), creating a nuanced sound that spotlights White's enchanting vocals and graceful guitar work.

A work of striking sensitivity, A Sign In The Weather was recorded in a shotgun house along the Mississippi River. The album expands beyond Bella's bluegrass roots into a moodier, more daring strain of folk and Americana. White reveals, "To me this album was a real labor of love and so empowering to make-it validated that I trust myself and trust my vision, and now I just want to keep doing it my way and keep working with people I believe in."
