(Epic) With his nearly sold-out headlining tour underway in support of his album, blame the chat, multi-platinum recording artist and streamer DDG delivers new hard-hitting single "Top of the Hill," out now via EPIC Records.
The release follows his blockbuster collaboration with Polo G ("Not Friendly"), which dropped last month and further solidified his status as a singular voice in hip-hop.
"Top of the Hill" is a flex-heavy banger that gives DDG space to step fully into his star power. The chantable hook, "I made it out of the city, I'm lucky for real, I'm at the top of the hill," anchors that energy with a larger than life statement. It's a not-so-humble track that highlights his fat pockets, foreign whips, and unimaginable wealth.
Elsewhere, it's been an impressive run for DDG - and last year he took things to new heights. After starting the year with his first PlaqueBoyMax collaboration ("Pink Dreads"), which landed on the Billboard charts upon release and has since been streamed over 46 million times, DDG continued fortifying his catalog with a handful of buzzworthy singles, and his latest project, moo, released on his 28th birthday.
DDG's 2025 album blame the chat has also earned widespread praise from fans and music critics alike, with many labeling it his most innovative project to date. Bringing the album to life on stage, the Michigan firebrand embarked on his highly anticipated North American tour last month, beginning April 21 with a hometown show in Detroit. With additional stops in New York, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, and more, the Blame The Chat Tour delivers an unforgettable live experience, channeling the same interactive energy that defines DDG's viral livestreams.
