Carly Simon's 'Anticipation' Set For High-Fidelity Reissue

(PR) Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MoFi), the leader in high-fidelity audio reissues, is proud to announce the definitive 180g 45RPM 2LP edition of two-time Grammy Award winner Carly Simon's gold-certified sophomore album, Anticipation.

Sourced from the original master tapes (1/4" / 15 IPS Dolby A analog master to DSD 256 to analog console to lathe) and strictly limited to 3,000 numbered copies, this reissue presents the 1971 masterpiece in audiophile-grade sound on 45RPM for the first time and is available for order on May 1 (here).

Pressed at Fidelity Record Pressing in California and housed in a Stoughton gatefold jacket, Mobile Fidelity's 2LP set lays bare the personal emotions, acoustic arrangements, and vocal nuances of an album steeped in romantic yearning.

Bold, personal, and autobiographical, Anticipation announces the arrival of an artist who won't back down. While Simon stands her ground on her eponymous debut, she elevates her passion and persona to heightened levels throughout this record, dealing in private matters related to love, relationships, and desire.
