(align) TIME revealed its 2026 TIME100 list, honoring Anderson .Paak in the Artist category. The annual list recognizes the world's most influential people across art, culture, and innovation.
Actress and director Natasha Lyonne wrote his profile, saying: "Anderson .Paak is the genuine, multihyphenate article. No one like him. Funny, unself-conscious, inspired. Humbly aware that he's the keeper of this endless trove of ideas, songs, and stories-including, this year, his directorial debut. Each spark tethering to the next, seamlessly flying without a net and yet somehow fully course-corrected."
This year, Anderson released his debut feature film K-POPS! which released theatrically on February 27, and is Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. K-POPS! marks Anderson's directorial debut - a music-driven, heartfelt film inspired by stories he created with his son during COVID. Beyond film, Anderson's influence continues to grow across the music industry as well. Currently, he is on tour with Bruno Mars on The Romantic Tour as his DJ alter ego DJ Pee .Wee, performing across stadiums in North America and Europe - marking one of his largest global touring runs to date and reuniting the Silk Sonic collaborators on the road.
