(Capitol) Sienna Spiro sees each of her last three singles simultaneously climb the Billboard Hot 100: Her just-released stunner "The Visitor" enters the chart at #43, while heart-wrenching smash "Die On This Hill" rises to #28, and last summer's enduring "You Stole The Show" climbs to #89, making her the only British artist on this week's Hot 100 to simultaneously chart three songs prior to the release of her debut album.
The new milestone comes less than a week after Sienna wrapped her inaugural U.S. headlining tour - part of her ongoing The Visitor Tour - which sold out within seconds, and then instantly sold out again when she added more dates. The shows were well-attended and well-reviewed, inspiring the Variety headline, "Sienna Spiro Shows Why She's About to Become the World's Next Pop Vocal Superhero."
The piece described her as "one of the greatest voices of her generation" and a shoo-in to record the next Bond theme song ("It will seem freaking insane to pick anyone else"). The Los Angeles Times said, "Spiro's voice stands out: Rich and pulpy, with a crack she knows how to deploy for maximum heartbreak, it might be the most impressive instrument to come out of England since Adele emerged nearly two decades ago."
"The Visitor," a very big song about feeling very small, is out now via Capitol Records. Long demanded by fans, the ballad draws its power from a show-stopping vocal, lyrics that cut to the bone, and a 20-piece string orchestra led and arranged by Oscar-winner Peter Rotter (Oppenheimer, The Last Repair Shop). Written and produced by SIENNA with Omer Fedi (SZA, Lil Nas X) and Michael Pollack (Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus), "The Visitor" was recorded in a single take.
