(The Oriel Company) Following the sold-out summer run of his critically acclaimed one-man show, Grammy award-winning artist Raphael Saadiq is bringing his magic to Los Angeles with a one-night only performance at the legendary Blue Note Cafe, on March 3rd. The night will feature two showings of the show at 7:30PM PT and 9:00PM PT. Tickets will be available for purchase beginning at 10AM PT, Monday February 23rd on the Blue Note Website.
The performance will shine a spotlight on Saadiq's legendary career, including a performance of "I Lied to You" from the record-breaking film SINNERS. The song has captivated audiences with its soul and grit, becoming one of the film's most impactful musical moments. The now Oscar-nominated song comes off the back of winning prestigious awards, including Outstanding Original Song for a Drama or Documentary at the SCL Awards and Outstanding Original Song at the Black Reel Awards. Saadiq will be awarded the Guild of Music Supervisors 2026 ICON Award for his prolific work both in music and film.
In addition, Saadiq will perform songs from across his celebrated 30+ year career, revisiting classics from his Tony! Toni! Tone! Days as well as highlights from his acclaimed solo albums. Fans can expect to hear not only their favorite songs written by Saadiq but also deep cuts and possibly a few surprise covers of songs he has admired over the years.
The Blue Note show highlights a prolific season for Saadiq. In addition to wrapping his sold-out No Bandwidth tour, he recently launched the Raphael Saadiq Vinyl Club, opening his vault for exclusive quarterly releases, including his self-released 2004 vintage soul gem Ray Ray. For one night only, the Blue Note Cafe will welcome a rare, up close evening with one of modern soul's most influential artists, with a truly special performance highlighting the artistry Raphael Saadiq has mastered over the years.
