(117) After an incredibly successful two-year run, Country Music Hall of Fame legend Randy Travis will conclude the More Life Tour this fall with stops in Georgia, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, New York, New England, Texas, and beyond. Tickets will go on sale Friday, May 29, at 10 am local time, with pre-sales starting Wednesday, May 27, at 10 am local time.
Having toured over 54 cities and 24 states, the More Life Tour has reconnected Randy with fans across the country. It has touched tens of thousands of music lovers in a deeply personal way, further cementing his legacy as a living legend in country music. Though these will be the final dates of this tour concept, with Randy's resilience, enduring love for the music, and deep appreciation for his fans, this won't be the last time fans see Randy Travis.
"The More Life Tour celebrates something so much more than a musical moment in time-it's a gift to me to spend time with my fans, and my band, as James Dupre perfectly presents the songs that best define my career. We look forward to seeing you all somewhere along the way," said Randy Travis.
Although Travis does not perform due to the effects of the stroke he survived in 2013, he does appear on stage with his wife, Mary, engaging with fans, interacting with the band, and celebrating the music throughout the show. Joined by his longtime touring band and special guest vocalist James Dupre, the show honors Travis's extraordinary four-decade career with performances of his iconic No. 1 hits, including "On the Other Hand," "Forever and Ever, Amen," and "Three Wooden Crosses."
"This tour has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Night after night, it's been incredible to see how much Randy's music still means to people. As we head into these final dates, I'm grateful to Randy, Mary, and the fans for letting me be part of something this special," said James Dupre.
