() Ella Langley has premiered the official video for her hit single "Choosin' Texas". Filmed in Fort Worth, TX at the iconic Stagecoach Ballroom with the same ACM and CMA award-winning visual team behind "you look like you love me", the cinematic video brings the "Choosin' Texas" story to life - a tale of hometown ties, complicated love, and the pull between past and present.
Grounded in Texas culture, Langley leads the story onscreen alongside Luke Grimes and Ava Phillippe, with special appearances woven throughout from Miranda Lambert and Kaitlin Butts. From respected rodeo figures to homegrown artists, including members of Texas A&M's Aggie Wranglers dance team, the video captures the spirit of the Lone Star State with a lived-in authenticity, set against a honky tonk buzzing with two-step, live music, and longnecks of Jack Daniel's and Shiner Bock.
Visually, Langley nods to the "Choosin' Texas" era with signature styling, wearing her custom red Westerly USA chaps first seen during the campaign's earliest moments, alongside custom chain-stitched American Eagle denim and crimson Tecovas boots, styled by Stef Colvin. Familiar faces also return to the dance floor, as original performers from earlier "Choosin' Texas" visuals and live moments reappear, adding a sense of continuity to the world she's built around the song.
Throughout, the video is layered with subtle callbacks for fans to uncover, from hidden details embedded into the setting, to fleeting musical moments that hint at what's still to come. A particularly special onstage moment offers a glimpse into the next chapter, while those paying close attention may catch a few extra surprises tucked into the frame.
"Choosin' Texas" made its broadcast premiere on MTV Live, MTVU, CMT and on the Paramount Times Square billboards.
The Platinum-certified hit continues to achieve historic heights, as it set a new record last week for the most weeks ever spent atop the Hot 100 for a song by a woman that also hit No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart (4 weeks). "Choosin' Texas" was co-written and produced by Ella with Miranda Lambert, alongside producer Ben West and co-writers Luke Dick and Joybeth Taylor. Lambert also performs background vocals on track. The song has accumulated over 525M worldwide streams to date and is also currently #1 on Billboard Hot Country Songs, Billboard Country Streaming Songs chart, and Billboard Country Digital Song Sales chart.
"Choosin' Texas" is featured alongside Ella's latest single "Loving Life Again", the self-reflective anthem "Be Her", and title track "Dandelion" on her upcoming sophomore album, Dandelion, which is set for global release April 10. Crafted alongside executive producers Miranda Lambert and Ben West, Dandelion is rooted in growth, self-reflection, and lived-in storytelling. It's designed to feel both effortless and immersive, balancing raw honesty with feel-good moments that invite listeners to lean in and let go.
