(Warner) 21-year-old South Carolina native Blake Whiten continues to lean further into his sound with the release of "Ghost House," out now via Enchntmnt / Warner Records. Delivering a stripped-down, haunting performance, Whiten leans into the aftermath of a breakup rather than trying to outrun it.
In "Ghost House," Whiten zeroes in on what lingers after a door closes for good - when a once-lived-in space begins to feel overtaken by memory, building on the song's emotional tension throughout.
"This is a super special release to me," shares Whiten. "It's one of the first songs I wrote in my bedroom in Six Mile before I moved to Nashville. It's been with me since the beginning and it feels like the right time to finally put it out. Can't wait for the fans to hear it."
The release follows a strong start to 2026 for Whiten. In February, he delivered "Break Me," a slow-burning track about "trying to put an old flame out with gasoline." The track earned praise from All Country News, which noted, "At first listen, you'd swear the voice on 'Break Me' belongs to someone with decades of scars and barroom stories behind it. Instead, it belongs to 21-year-old Blake Whiten, and that contrast is exactly what makes the single hit twice as hard." He also stepped into the circle for his Grand Ole Opry debut and was named a SiriusXM "Highway Find," joining an early championed class that includes Luke Combs, Gabby Barrett, Lanie Gardner and Parker McCollum.
Whiten continues to connect with audiences on the road, currently touring arenas nationwide on Bailey Zimmerman's Different Night Same Rodeo tour through June. After a run of major fairs and festivals this summer, he will join Morgan Wallen's Still The Problem stadium tour, with stops at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Mich. and Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa.
Since signing his record deal last June, Whiten has steadily gained momentum, already named as one of Pandora's 2026 Country Artists to Watch and included on Country Now's "Country Next: 10 Artists To Watch in 2026." That rise has been fueled by his Six Mile EP and anchored by breakout track "Rollin' Stone," a solo write that landed on SiriusXM's The Highway and playlists including Spotify's Hot Country and Apple Music's Country Risers. With nearly 100 million global streams to date, the track powered Whiten's headlining Rollin' Stone Tour, while recent releases like "Hard to Break" and "Night N' Day" expand his growing catalog.
