(Columbia) Multi-platinum, chart-topping, and award-winning country star Ella Langley has released her new song, "Loving Life Again," today via SAWGOD/Columbia Records. The deeply personal track captures Ella finding her way back to center, reconnecting with the roots, memories, and quiet moments that restore her sense of peace when the world feels overwhelming.
The release arrives alongside an official lyric video directed by Ella and Wales Toney. The video sees Ella performing the song barefoot at her Grandpa's piano in the fields of Alabama.
Speaking on the song, Ella shared: "'Loving Life Again' was one of those songs that I wrote, almost because I needed to. Last year, I just kind of lost my mind a little bit. My imposter syndrome kicked in. My life was moving faster than ever. All my dreams were coming true, but I felt sad for some reason, and just that in itself was frustrating. So I kinda lost myself a little bit last year and that was tough because all of these amazing things are happening in my life, and you'd think you'd be the happiest person in the world. I never cancel anything, maybe one or two shows the whole time, and I ended up canceling two weeks worth. So I did that, I came back here. I closed on my first house here in Alabama coincidentally right around the same time, and I really just got to be back home with my family. I got to grow my relationship with my faith. When I looked in the mirror I looked like myself again by the end of those two weeks. I was hanging out with Ernest and he asked "well, how are you doing?" And I kind of just looked at him and said "Looks like I'm back to love in life again."
"Loving Life Again" joins the self-reflective anthem "Be Her", title track "Dandelion" and as well as her Platinum-certified single "Choosin' Texas," on Ella's forthcoming sophomore album Dandelion, which will be released globally on April 10. "Choosin' Texas" continues to achieve historic heights, as earlier this week positioned Ella in a tie for the most weeks ever spent atop the Hot 100 for a song by a woman that also hit No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart. The song is also currently #1 on: Mediabase Country Audience, Billboard Country Streaming Songs chart, Billboard Country Digital Song Sales chart, and UK Country Radio (12 weeks).
