"Las Vegas is known for incredible entertainment, but the Las Vegas Songwriters Festival gives fans something truly unique - the chance to experience the songs they love directly from the people who wrote them," said Rob Hatch, President of Entersong Entertainment and LVSF co-founder. "There's something magical about hearing a hit song in the room with the songwriter who created it, and bringing dozens of those writers together in one place makes this weekend unlike anything else."
A wide array of songwriters are scheduled to deliver an intimate, immersive experience to fans, featuring some of the biggest names in songwriting including:
Dean Dillon, a legendary songwriter best known for co-writing more than 60 George Strait songs, including classics like "The Chair" and "Ocean Front Property."
Liz Rose, a GRAMMY Award-winning songwriter behind some of the biggest songs of the modern era, including Taylor Swift's "You Belong With Me" and "Teardrops On My Guitar."
Bob DiPiero, a Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame member with a career spanning decades and hits for Tim McGraw, Brooks & Dunn, Reba McEntire, among countless others.
Billy Montana, an acclaimed Nashville songwriter whose hits include Garth Brooks' "More Than A Memory" and Sara Evans' "Suds in the Bucket," earning him CMA Song of the Year honors.
Marti Frederikson, a multi-Platinum songwriter and producer whose credits include Aerosmith, Ozzy Osborne, Motley Crue and Carrie Underwood.
Matt Warren, songwriter, artist and LVSF co-founder, said, "Some of the greatest songs ever written started with a songwriter sitting in a room with a guitar. What makes this festival special is that fans get to be in that room with us - hearing the songs, the stories and the moments that brought them to life."
As the masterminds of the world's most beloved songs, each writer will mix an entertaining live performance with captivating storytelling, revealing the inspiration behind the work - and even hosting select Q&A sessions.
