(SMN) Emerging singer and songwriter Ian Harrison has released his self-reflective new track "Cigarette". With a deeper meaning under its catchy sonics, "Cigarette" was written alongside Thomas Daniel, Rory Adams and Mike Robinson.
"I think I usually have a good North Star to follow when it comes to being a good person. However, I - like a lot of people - often feel like I miss the mark. Sometimes the things I enjoy the most do nothing but hurt me," Harrison shared. "It can lead to some shame, especially around my faith, and 'Cigarette' is inspired by that feeling."
"I'm self-aware enough to admit that sometimes I fall short, but I hope this song gives anyone in the same situation the feeling that they're seen and can offer a sense of peace knowing there are other people making the same choices, mistakes and carrying the same guilt," Harrison explained.
Fresh off his debut performance at Extra Innings Festival, Harrison is set to head over to the UK to support Cooper Alan on the To The Park Tour beginning April 17. Visit IanHarrisonMusic.com for more information and to purchase tickets.
