(GN) Mumford & Sons' new album, Prizefighter, debuts at #10 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart this week. Co-produced and co-written with The National's Aaron Dessner, Prizefighter features collaborations with Hozier, Gracie Abrams, Chris Stapleton and Gigi Perez and finds Mumford & Sons at their most instinctive and open, capturing the sense of community and connection that has influenced them from the start.
Daniel Glass, Founder and President of Glassnote Records, comments: "A Top 10 debut on the Billboard 200 is an extraordinary achievement, and watching 'Prizefighter' land there is both gratifying and deeply meaningful for all of us. Mumford & Sons continue to create with purpose and conviction, and with Aaron Dessner's production bringing both emotional clarity and new sonic textures, this album reflects a band that is still pushing forward creatively while delivering songs that resonate deeply with audiences across the country.
What stands out most about this moment is the longevity. Years into their career, they're still expanding their sound, taking risks, and proving that ambition and authenticity can coexist at the highest level of popular music. That kind of sustained relevance doesn't happen by accident. It's built on trust, collaboration, and an unrelenting work ethic.
We're grateful to the extraordinary collaborators who helped bring this record to life, and to our entire team whose strategic vision and commitment drove this campaign forward. Most of all, we thank the fans who continue to show up for this band in such a meaningful way."
