New Jersey hard rockers Kikker recently released their self-titled EP and to celebrate we asked Pete Blasko to tell us about the song "Fight to the End". Here is the story:
When we write songs, we always write together as a band, and whoever comes up with an idea, we just start working on that. In the case with Fight to the End, this one was our bass player Brian's idea.
He just wanted it to start out with a sort of "in your face" approach with the march in the beginning, and then let it kick in a second time and just rock it out to the end.
The lyrics are fictional, but it describes how a government body became corrupt, and one man or group of men were singled out, but fought against the corruption by starting a revolution. This is one of our favorite songs to play in our setlist. It has also become a favorite among our KIKKER family and friends.
Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen and watch for yourself below and learn more here
