Heavy rockers What Lies Below are gearing up to release their new album "I Let It Consume Me" on July 10th and just released their new single "Leech". To celebrate we asked them to tell us about the track. Here is the story:
"Leech" is about exposing the people and systems that thrive by draining others for their own gain. It captures the tension between survival and integrity, and the breaking point where you're forced to decide what parts of yourself you're willing to lose.
The song fits into the narrative of our upcoming album I Let It Consume Me which tells the story of a man's declining psyche. Acting as the third part of the story building from 2021's Destinations and 2024's Darker Colors, I Let it Consume Me is the next chapter, out July 10.
Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen and watch for yourself below and learn more here
