Sammy Hagar revealed this morning that he is heading across the pond this summer to play a short series of The Best Of All Worlds concerts in the UK including a three night stand in London.
Featuring special guests Jayler as support, Sammy will be joined by The Best Of All Worlds group that features his good friend and former Van Halen bandmate Michael Anthony on bass, guitarist Joe Satriani and drummer Kenny Aronoff for the trek.
They will be kicking things off on July 6th in Wolverhampton at Civic Hall, followed by a show the next night in Manchester at the O2 Apollo, and they will wrap up the tour with three nights at the British Airways Arc in London on July 9th, 11th and 12th.
Hagar had this to say, "After waiting 30 years to come back, we really wanted to get this right. Several factors pushed us toward revising this tour but after wrapping our Las Vegas residency last month at Dolby Live where the sound, the technology, and the more intimate size really lets us connect with the audiences, it was clear that we wanted to deliver an experience like that for our fans in England.
"When I heard our promoter was opening a similar tech-forward venue in London that really sealed the deal for me. Three nights, a fresh set every night, and I get to stay in London, one of my favorite cities in the world, for a week. That's the Best of All Worlds!"
Tickets are set to go on sale this Friday April 24th at 10am at AEG Presents UK
