Live Without A Net DVD cover artVan Halen have revealed that they are celebrating this year's Record Store Day by streaming a 4K version of their classic Sammy Hagar era concert film "Live Without A Net" on YouTube.
The band shared, "In celebration of the new reissue of 5150 and the vinyl debut of Live In New Haven, CT 1986 for Record Store Day this Saturday, the 4K version of Live Without A Net is streaming live on the Van Halen YouTube channel for a limited time. Watch it now and support your indie record stores this weekend."
Record Store Day 2026 takes place tomorrow, April 18th, at participating record stores and Rhino Records is releasing Van Halen "Live in New Haven, CT 1986" as a two disc clear vinyl set.
Here is the synopsis, "For the first time on vinyl, Live in New Haven, CT 1986 captures the band's newly retooled lineup of Sammy Hagar, Eddie Van Halen, Alex Van Halen, and Michael Anthony in raw, peak form during their triumphant 5150 tour. Two consecutive New Haven summer shows were originally recorded for Van Halen's 'Live Without A Net' video release. This performance features the band tearing through an exhilarating mix of hits, album cuts, covers, and soon-to-be classics."
