Metallica and Oasis Big Winners At 37th Annual Pollstar Awards

Metallica and Oasis were big winners at the 37th Annual Pollstar Awards on Wednesday night (April 15th) at the Loews Hollywood Hotel, which was part of Pollstar Live!, a gathering of global live entertainment professionals.

Here is the official recap: Pollstar, the "Voice of Live" and the live entertainment industry's trusted authority for in-depth data and box office reporting, brought together the industry's top talent for an unforgettable evening. As the only peer-voted honors in the business, the Pollstar Awards hold a unique and respected place in the industry. This year's ceremony honored the most innovative and successful artists, tours, companies, venues, and executives, with award winners including Oasis, Metallica, Kendrick Lamar/SZA, The Weeknd, Benson Boone, Chris Stapleton, Lainey Wilson, Bad Bunny, Adam Sandler, and more.

"As the benchmark for excellence in global live entertainment, the Pollstar Awards continue to be the most prestigious and influential recognition for the performers, venues, and visionaries who create unforgettable experiences for fans," said Ray Waddell, Chief Content Director, OVG Media and Conferences. "This year's honorees reflect the best of the best and highlight the innovation and dedication that propels our business forward. We are privileged to spotlight their extraordinary success."

As part of its partnership with iHeartRadio, Pollstar introduced a new fan-voted honor this year: the inaugural iHeartRadio Pollstar Fan Favorite Award for Live Performer of the Year. The category marks a new era of audience-driven recognition, created to spotlight the artists whose live performances resonate most powerfully with fans-the ones who show up, sing every word, and bring the energy that defines live music. The nominees reflected a diverse lineup of top touring talent, all selected based on fan engagement and impact, with this year's recipient awarded to country music star Morgan Wallen.
