US-based progressive rockers Advent Horizon have revealed their new song "Faith's Window", which is the second single they have shared from their forthcoming studio album, "Falling Together" that is set to be released on May 15th.
Vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Rylee McDonald had this to say about the new single "'Faith's Window' is my personal favorite track from our new album. It's one of those that 'wrote itself' - I think all of the parts were written within an hour, and came together quickly and seamlessly.
"The chorus is one of the catchiest things I've ever written, and I feel like, in general, the song does a good job of blending the classic 'Advent Horizon sound' with something more modern and heavy.
"In the past, I've been very hesitant to include any screaming in our music, but this song demanded more intensity in the middle section. When we tried adding scratch vocal screams in the demo, it was immediately apparent that this was the right call.
"I'm particularly proud of the way we blended the screams and the clean vocals at the end of the bridge section. I also really love the way that Kristen takes over the last chorus, her vocals at the end are so magical and signature."
