John Mellencamp Honored At 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards

(hennemusic) John Mellencamp was honored at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards during a March 26 event at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, CA.

The rocker was on hand to pick up The iHeartRadio Icon Award as well as performing a pair of his classic hits - "Jack and Diane" &"Pink Houses" - at the annual event.

Now in its thirteenth year, the iHeartRadio Music Awards celebrates the most-played artists and songs on iHeartRadio stations and the iHeartRadio app throughout 2025, while also offering a preview of the upcoming hits of 2026.

Mellencamp will launch The "Dancing Words Tour - The Greatest Hits" this summer; the series will mark the first time the singer will be performing all his most beloved songs in a single night, some of which haven't been played live in many years.

The month-long run will kick off in Grand Rapids, MI on July 10 and hit 19 US cities by the time it wraps up in California in mid-August.
