Built to spotlight emerging talent and energize fans with fast-paced, high-stakes gameplay, the league creates opportunities for athletes to showcase their skills on a global stage while staying deeply rooted in grassroots culture. Today, the latest team to join the league is Las Vegas Action, set to debut in the 2026 season and led by an ownership group featuring SG Ellison (Taco Bell franchisee), AQ Shipley (former NFL player), Brandon Stein (real estate developer), and Mark King (former TaylorMade/Adidas executive).

Las Vegas Action marks a major milestone in the continued expansion of the Grass League. Set to debut in the 2026 season, the franchise reflects growing momentum behind the league and is positioned in a city known for its spectacle and global appeal. Las Vegas Action is poised to deliver a uniquely immersive experience, blending elite competition with the vibrant atmosphere that defines Las Vegas.

The 2026 team features Las Vegas locals, Phillip Reedy (Captain), Gigi Stoll, Joseph Harrison and JW Scolari, along with former PGA pro and co-host of the Sub Par podcast, Colt Knost, rounded out by pro teammates Riley Elmes, Jennifer Song, Willie Mack III, Scott Harrington, and Ricky Hearden. Four additional players will be announced during the Grass League Draft on April 23rd which will be live-streamed at 6:45pm PT on the Grass League YouTube channel.

Much like the Las Vegas Raiders holding the #1 pick in the NFL Draft, the Las Vegas Action enters the Grass League with the #1 overall pick, setting the stage for an exciting debut as they finalize their roster.

The draft kicks things off ahead of the league's first event, the Grass Clippings Open, taking place April 24-25 in Tempe, AZ at The Grass Clippings Rolling Hills course, a fully-lighted Par-3 golf venue. For those new to the league, the event will also feature live performances from Phantogram and MIKE., creating a unique blend of competition and music.
