Purity Ring Share New Single 'Lemonlime' Ahead Of Tour Launch

Purity Ring have shared their brand new single 'lemonlime', which came from their self-titled album sessions, and they have announced that they are hitting the road for dates in North America, Australia, the UK and EU.

From the official announcement: Coming full circle with the impetus for their latest record is 'lemonlime'. The glitch-haze number showcases Purity Ring's signature sound with dappled percussion and synth flourishes propelled by twinkling arpeggios.

The first song written for their self-titled album, and the last release of this era, 'lemonlime' is a song of survival - a sad dream, if you wake up. An extension of the album's overarching theme and search for goodness in the face of plight, it speaks of caring for someone with chronic illness, imagining a place we can all rest.

A concept album that serves as the soundtrack to an imagined RPG, Corin reaches into his deepest musical memories to sculpt euphoric, otherworldly soundscapes of vintage digital synths, classical guitar, pan flutes, breakbeats, and haunted vocoders.
