Country music hitmaker Ingrid Andress has announced that she will be releasing a brand-new single entitled "Tattoos" this Friday, April 24th as she gears up to launch her Low-Key Sessions tour.
In the announcement, "Tattoos" is described as "a deeply self-aware track that explores the fear of permanence, both in relationships and life in general." Ingrid had this to say, "'Tattoos' is a song about commitment issues and the weight of choosing something permanent like a tattoo.
"I wrote this song to express a familiar internal struggle of mine - wanting to be fully present and dedicated in a relationship while simultaneously grappling with the anxiety of forever."
The Low-Key Sessions tour will be kicking off May 8th in the Cincinnati area (Newport, KY) and wrapping up May 15 in Minneapolis. "After gathering solicitations from fans via social media, Andress curated a selection of the six-city run based on the submissions and will share her brand-new, unreleased music with stripped down band and production", according to the tour announcement.
